Following their recent openings at Marsiling and Toa Payoh, Tai Wah Pork Noodle is making headline news again! With eight outlets currently under their belt, they officially opened their ninth outlet at Yishun Street 22 on 13 April 2022.

Mentioned in the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand in 2016, Tai Wah Pork Noodle is certainly expanding at record speed. The new stall is located at BGAIN 293 Eating House, merely a short distance from Yishun MRT Station. This is definitely good news for those who are living around the area.

Their Yishun outlet opens from 7.30am daily, which means you can get a hearty bowl of BCM in the AM to kickstart your day. I mean, it’s the simple things in life that bring us joy, right?

One bowl of Bak Chor Mee at Tai Wah Pork Noodle will set you back around S$5. You can also choose between the dry or soup option. The dry option comes with springy, al dente noodles tossed in their signature sauce mix with heaps of chilli, and is topped with pork liver, minced meat, meatballs, dumplings, and fried sole fish.

The soup option, on the other hand, comes with an additional umami-filled broth that explodes with an amalgamation of flavours.

Personally, I’d opt for the dry option because that’s what sets them apart from the rest. Now, here’s to me hoping Tai Wah Pork Noodle sees this and takes this as a sign to open up a stall in Pasir Ris!
