New in town: Roasted Story — Dishes roasted with lychee and citron firewood including Char Siew, Duck and Pork Belly

If you can’t seem to get enough of roasted meat, the newly opened Roasted Story will definitely interest you.

Located along Middle Road, Roasted Story uses lychee firewood and citron firewood to infuse the aroma and enhance the taste of their roasted meat dishes.

Their signature dish is the Fire Bu Jian Tian Char Siew (S$21.80), a char siew dish that is lit on fire after being served.

Their a la carte servings of roast meat include Char Siew (S$13), Crispy Pork Belly (S$15) and Firewood Roasted Duck (S$17.80).

If you’d like to get multiple different kinds of roasted meat, go for the Quadruple Roast Meat Platter (S$25.80), where you can choose four types of meat, including Char Siew, Chicken, Pork Belly, Roasted Duck and Roasted Bu Jian Tian Char Siew.

If you’d like to have a full meal for yourself, the Firewood Roast Rice / Noodle on Board comes with either rice, porridge or noodles, an egg, vegetables and your choice of protein, including Roasted Duck (S$9.80), Roasted Pork Belly (S$9.80), Roasted Char Siew (Lean / Fat) (S$9.80), Soy Chicken Drumstick (S$11.80) and Roasted Duck Drumstick (S$13.80).

Aside from their roasted meat specialties, Roasted Story also offers an array of seafood dishes, like Curry Fishhead (S$35), Salted Egg Prawn (S$18.80), Sambal Sotong (S$15.80) and LaLa in Soup Broth (S$13.80).

Other popular Chinese side dishes include Fu Rong Omelette (S$12.80), Pork Floss Eggplant (S$11.80), Salted Egg Fish Skin (S$12.80) and Mapo Beancurd (S$12.80).

Finally, enjoy some Chinese desserts like Mango Pomelo Sago (S$5.80), Sea Coconut with Snow Fungus (S$5.80) and Red Bean Pancake (S$7.80). They even have Fried Ice Cream (S$9.80)!
