New in town: Blanco Court Beef Noodles, Tampines — Easties can finally slurp on comforting bowls of beef noodles from the popular brand

What goes better with the rainy season than a bowl of piping hot, gratuitously rich, and gloriously soupy noodles? Genuinely nothing in the world can top that. And my choice of noods when it comes to broth-soaked goodness? Beef noodles, hands down.

If you’re like me and enjoy savouring mouth after mouth of hot beefy decadence, then you’d have heard of the popular Blanco Court Beef Noodles franchise. And if you live in the far East of Singapore, then you’d be elated to hear that they’ve opened a new restaurant at Our Tampines Hub.

The Blanco Court Beef Noodles in Tampines is a cosy 40-seater restaurant easily located on the first floor of the mall. More impressively, its design is gorgeous and stylish with a nice modern edge to it thanks to the sharp black marble and chic wooden touches.

Having been around since 1979, the business is now run by third-generation owners—it’s always nice to see hawker legacies being passed on.

This new Tampines outlet is Blanco Court Beef Noodles’ eighth outlet in Singapore. You can find its other restaurant outlet at the Aperia Mall while the other outlets are scattered in Food Republic food courts throughout malls including Parkway Parade, Wisma Atria, and Suntec City.

What makes them such a great noodle option is the affordability even amongst all the bells and whistles. If you’re just headed there for a simple meal, you can dig into Slice Beef Noodles (from S$7.90) and Beef Ball Noodles (from S$7.90) for a reasonable price in a mall outlet.

But honestly, what you’d really want is their Superior Beef Noodles (S$10.90/small, S$16.90/large). This is probably the best way to indulge in Blanco Court Beef Noodles’s rich broth—jazzed up with premium-cut beef shank, beef tripe, sliced beef, beef balls, and beef tendon.
