ICYMI Halle Berry shut it down on the Oscars red carpet, taking her Atelier Versace gown to the next level with a head full of glorious curls with bangs.

Fans of Halle know this has been her go-to look lately. She’s posted a handful of pics on IG showing off her curly ‘fro and we’re loving it. Halle’s stylist Castillo told Refinery 29, “It was a joint process that took around two weeks to decide on. Halle’s been wearing her hair natural lately, and we really wanted to create a style that embodied her whimsical spirit.”

Some of us have been copying Halle Berry since Strictly Business and Boomerang, so naturally, we’re dying to get her Shirley Temples.

Here are a few ways to harness your inner Ms. Berry and use your powers for good.

Option #1: Wear your own damn curls

Flourishing and whatnot

Halle’s style was all about embracing her natural curl, so do the same! Take a break from flat irons and curling wands. Use a curl enhancing product like Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie ($12.99), get your air dry on, and grab your afro pick by the fist ($4.99).

Option #2: Roller girl

To mimic Halle’s exact curl, a roller set is your best bet. To get your best curl you’ll need to use a foam like ORS Olive Oil Wrap Set Mousse ($6.89), these can be a bit drying so use your most moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. (Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen and Grow Restore Shampoo, $12.99 and Cantu Hydrating Cream Conditioner, $4.97 are good options.) Section your hair, apply one pump of foam per section, and roll hair with orange perm rods ($1.99). Use a bit of oil to remove rods and separate curls — but not until they’re 100 percent dry.

Option 3: Wig out

Don’t sleep on a curly wig moment. All you need is an affordable wig that’s similar to Halle’s curls (we found one here for $24.99.) Then for a more natural shape, follow beauty blogger Jessica Pettway’s tutorial for cutting and layering.

Curly, straight, loc’d, or braided up, we can all agree that having a hair moment in the face of haters deserves its own award.
