Tori Kelly Sang the Most Beautiful Cover of Beyoncé’s "Love on Top" and I Wanna Play It on Repeat

From Cosmopolitan

In this episode of Singing in the Shower, Tori Kelly joined us—er, well we joined her in her shower at home—and graced us with her perfect vocals. Truly, I’m sad that the video only went on for a few minutes because I could have listened her sing in there for hours. While performing a couple of songs, Tori also walked us through her usual bathing routine and even had her pups make an appearance. All in all, a 10/10 viewing experience.

She revealed that the shower is actually a really important space for her music (other than to cleanse herself) because it’s place where she does a lot of her songwriting. Ugh, amazing. But when it comes to jamming out, some of her go-to songs are ones by Beyoncé. I mean, like, who *can’t* say the same thing?!

But when she is in her feelings, she finds herself singing gospel music—specifically “For Your Glory,” by Tasha Cobbs. When I tell you I’ve never heard anything more beautiful and powerful than Tori covering this song, I—well, I have no words. I’m pretty much in tears.

Truly though, friends, you’ve just gotta see and listen with your own eyes and ears to appreciate Tori’s vocal chords throughout this video. And curly haired girls: Listen up because she’s got some quality advice for y’all. Also, stream her Christmas album, A Tori Kelly Christmas out now.
