Tony Hung' moustache didn't get a good reception

19 Feb – After receiving a lot of negative comments about his pencil moustache, Tony Hung had a change of plan and was recently seen filming his new drama, "Maid Alliance" without it.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor who previously sported the pencil moustache for his role in the drama as a ladies' man at the costume press conference held in TVB City, admitted to reporters that people had reservations about the look and expressed their dislike on social media.

"I realised that not everybody can pull of Damian Lau's Luk Siu Fung look," he joked, referring to the character the veteran actor played in the 1976 series of the same name.

Tony said that he decided to remove the moustache after listening to opinions from fans and friends alike, who mostly think that the moustache made his character look more like a pervert than a ladies man.

On the other hand, when asked whether he has plans to meet up with ex-girlfriend Natalie Tong soon, the actor said that he still hasn't had any chance to treat her to dinner to celebrate her TV Queen win, let alone meet her during the festive period.
