20 Jan – ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc. managing director Olivia Lamasan recently revealed that Toni Gonzaga has been quietly helping ABS-CBN workers who were displaced following the denial of the network's franchise renewal.

The producer shared as much on the 17 January episode of the actress' digital talk show, "I Feel U" when she wished Gonzaga a happy birthday.

"Do you guys know that Toni here has given a generous portion of her talent fee, if not all, right? She gave it to all the employees of ABS-CBN who lost their jobs after Congress shut us down," she said.

Lamasan stated that she will never forget Gonzaga's good deed and that she was moved by the actress' big heart.

"I pray that God returns your generosity a thousandfold and that blessings may continue to abound you in all aspects of your life," she added.

In the same interview, the filmmaker also stated that she would love to work with the actress again, adding that their previous collaboration, "Starting Over Again" is still one of her favourite projects.

Gonzaga turns 37 on 20 January.
