Tomohisa Yamashita is Dior's beauty ambassador
19 May – Japanese singer-actor Tomohisa Yamashita recently announced that he is now the beauty ambassador for Dior.
The actor shared the good news on Instagram on 17 May, writing, "So excited to join [Dior] as their new Beauty ambassador. Looking forward to the many things we are going to achieve together."
"It's been two years since we launched Instagram! You guys have made a special place where we can connect with each other. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart," he added.
In another announcement, he expressed happiness to be able to represent a brand that has been successful and is well-known since he was a child.
"I think there's a lot to learn. Beauty is of course not just the appearance. I think that there is strength and beauty that comes out from the inside, so I think it would be good if we could find the answer together with Dior while being aware of the charm from the inside and the charm from the outside," he added.
The new collaboration meant that the "Code Blue" star will be actively participating in Dior's various sustainability activities in the future.
On the other hand, the actor is set to appear in the upcoming American action-comedy, "The Man From Toronto", co-starring Kevin Hart, Woody Harrelson, Kaley Cuoco and Ellen Barkin.
