Tommy Hilfiger heading to London for upcoming fashion show
Ready-to-wear label Tommy Hilfiger is heading to the British capital to stage its next "TommyNow" fashion show, September 19, reports Women's Wear Daily. Starring brand ambassador and collection collaborator, Gigi Hadid, the show will be held at London's legendary Roundhouse concert venue in Camden.
After New York and Los Angeles, Tommy Hilfiger has picked London as the setting for the label's next "see now, buy now" show, part of the brand's "TommyNow" project fusing fashion, leisure and pop culture. The show will close London Fashion Week, September 19 at 7pm.
The label's global brand ambassador, Gigi Hadid, will evidently be the star of the show. The internationally renowned model will unveil her new "Tommy x Gigi" collection at the event, her third collaboration with the ready-to-wear brand.
After exploring music festivals and the laid-back LA cool, Tommy Hilfiger's upcoming collection is likely to channel a more rock ‘n' roll vibe, in line with the musical heritage of the Roundhouse venue.
The show will preview the new "Tommy x Gigi" collection, as well as designs from Hilfiger Collection. It will be a mixed show, featuring men's and women's looks, including menswear from Hilfiger Edition.
