Tommy Hilfiger has launched its first hijab.
The U.S. label is selling the piece - available in ivory and sky captain grey colourways - in Europe and the Middle East, retailing at $82 (£63).
Crafted from a fine, woven jacquard with a light shimmer of soft lurex thread, the hijab's lightweight material allows for ultimate breathability and elegant comfort, reports Now in SA, and is decorated with the TH monogram.
This isn't the first time American designer Hilfiger has catered to the Muslim market - his brand created the custom red burkini model Halima Aden wore for her second Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue appearance earlier this summer.
The Somali-American model has also walked the runway for Tommy Hilfiger and starred in a campaign for the fashion house.
Halima, who has also designed a line of headscarves, previously told Elle magazine: "Modest fashion is booming. It's not for one race, it's not for one ethnicity, it's not for one religion. It's a global thing and I'm so excited that I can walk into a mall and find an outfit. If I feel elegant, if I feel like a queen in it, I don't need to conform."
