Tom Rodriguez, Carla Abellana are now engaged
22 Mar – Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana recently announced that they are engaged to be married.
Rodriguez shared the announcement on 21 March with a photo of him showing off the ring on Abellana's finger, writing a quote from Chilean poet Pablo Neruda that read, "I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this..."
As for Abellana, the actress posted a similar photo and captioned it simply, "A million times, YES."
The announcement was met with much joy from fans and friends alike, including Max Collins, Angelika dela Cruz, Benjamin Alves and Kris Bernal, the latter who posted, "Awwww. Congrats!"
On the other hand, it was revealed that the engagement had actually happened in October last year, six years after they first got together following their collaboration in GMA-7 show, "My Destiny".
