Tom Holland has sparked a frenzy among fans after debuting his freshly shaved head.
Earlier this week, the Spider-Man actor took a break from filming his new movie Cherry, in which he plays an army medic who returns from Iraq with severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), when he recorded a message for a fan called Sabrina, and showed off his new look in the process.
The clip was shared on Twitter by a member of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), America's "leading post-9/11 veteran empowerment organisation", who wrote: "Thank you @TomHolland1996 for taking time out today to meet with @ClevelandVAMC veterans. Can't wait to see #Cherry in its entirety... also she loved the video."
After the clip was shared online, fans were quick to share their reactions to Tom's new look, with one writing: "WE ARE GATHERED HERE TODAY IN MEMORY OF TOM HOLLAND'S PRINCE CHARMING HAIR. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN REST IN PEACE."
"Rest in peace to Tom Holland's beautiful hair. You will be missed," another commented, while a third added, "Tom Holland is hairless nooooooooooo."
Tom has not yet commented on his new hairstyle. However, he uploaded a snap of himself and his dog on Instagram earlier this month in which he shared that he wouldn't be using social media while filming Cherry. Directed by Avengers: Endgame filmmakers Anthony and Joe Russo, the film also features Bill Skarsgard and Jack Reynor.
"My Pooch and Me. Off now to go begin my latest venture with the @therussobrothers. I'm going to be taking a short break from Instagram, so see you all in the not so distant future," the 23-year-old captioned the snap.
Cherry is slated to hit cinemas in 2020.
