1 Jul – Despite their initial plan, J Monterde recently revealed that he and KZ Tandingan will be postponing their wedding to next year.
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the singer, who spoke about his upcoming wedding with Tandingan, stated that they were ready for it before it all grounded to a halt due to the pandemic.
"I proposed in December, and we began planning in January. She's the planner between the two of us. And we were already 70 percent done. We spoke to the coordinator, to everybody. We had only 30 percent to go before the execution," he said.
Monteverde stated that the COVID-19 pandemic had caused all flights to delay, which in turn made it difficult for them to make it to the venue.
"We were excited, because we were supposed to release our songs before the wedding. But it cannot be done," he added.
Despite the situation, the singer said he and Tandingan are now considering holding a civil ceremony ahead of their actual wedding, though nothing has been decided yet.
