Tirso Cruz III: The show must go on!
11 Dec – Life goes on for actor Tirso Cruz III, despite losing son Teejay, who passed away last month from cancer.
As reported on Rappler, the actor, who appeared at the press conference for his new Metro Manila Film Festival movie, "Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles", shared that he is doing fine currently and coping with the tragedy.
"There's a saying, the show must go on no matter what," he said.
Cruz stated that while most people will take some time to mourn their lost loved ones, as an actor, his first priority is to always share his talent.
"I am thankful that my parents and fellow actors taught me to keep it to your own when you're going through something serious and to serve those who [put you where you are]. Of course, it's not second place, but you learn to attend to your personal woes after work," he added.
Cruz's upcoming film is set to be released on Christmas Day.
