18 Mar – Tin Kai Man recently admitted that there has been no concrete decision when it comes to how the organisers are planning to helm the upcoming Hong Kong Film Awards.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who is also a fellow member of the HKFA Association, shared in an interview that the committee members have been holding several meetings but has so far not come up with a proper plan.
"We have had many ideas, a different one every day. We have considered to either hold a closed door presentation, or delay the awards ceremony to August," he said.
However, Tin said that delaying the awards would also affect next year's event, as 2021 will mark the HKFA's 40th anniversary.
"We don't want the timing to be too close to one another," he added.
The Hong Kong Film Awards is usually held in between April or May every year. However, the outbreak of COVID-19 has made it difficult for the organisers to decide whether or not to hold the event as usual.
