Time for a Deep Dive on Nayte Olukoya From Michelle Young’s ‘Bachelorette’ Season

Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette officially kicked off last week, but we’ve already got a heaping amount of juicy details on some of her contestants. Case in point: Nayte Olukoya, aka the recipient of Michelle's first impression rose. Obvi this means it’s time to go on a whole ass deep dive into this Nayte guy to see if he is worthy of Michelle’s heart. Get comfortable—you'll be here a while. He’s Canadian
Although Nayte currently lives in Austin, Texas, he's actually from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Cool cool, hope he is open to possibly moving to Minnesota though!
He is? was?? an Account Executive
After having a few gigs in bartending and commission-based sales, Nayte started at your fave job-finding resource, Indeed.com, as an account executive and stayed in the role for a year and a half before getting promoted to a senior account executive this year. Yasss, come on advancement!
Oddly enough though, his LinkedIn bio says he left the role in July, but the "Experience" section says he's still in it 🤔. Hmmm, maybe he didn't get around to updating the bottom portion??
He’s...honest?
We don’t have much information of Nayte (yet), but at least he appears to be an honest man—he admitted in his IG bio that he bought half of his (then) 10k+ followers when he was 17, LOL.
Update: Nayte has since removed that bit from his Instagram bio. Interesting!
He's a dog dad
Nayte got his pup Percy (OMG stop it, so stinkin' cute!) in April and he is an all black English Cocker Spaniel. Nayte lovingly calls him PercyPop and I can! not! handle! that!
His official ABC bio is adorbs
After forever and 2,000 days, ABC finally released the official cast list and their bios, and TBH, Nayte’s was one of the standouts. His bio reads:
“When you walk into a room, it’s hard not to notice Nayte. He has a smile that sparkles like the stars, he is always the life of the party; and to boot, he is a 6-foot, eight-inch Adonis of a man. Nayte doesn’t have trouble meeting women, but as he edges closer to 30, he’s more focused on finding a long-lasting relationship that will go the distance. His dream woman is outgoing, spontaneous, and has enough swagger of her own to keep up with him. He’s looking for a connection filled with heat and for someone who will be just as passionate about him as he is about her.
