Country star Tim McGraw will be relaxing his diet and fitness regime this Thanksgiving because his wife Faith Hill's cooking is too tempting to resist.
The Humble and Kind hitmaker ensures he spends quality time with his family over the festive season because it's all about "togetherness" - and that involves bonding at the dinner table.
"It really helps when your wife is an amazing cook," he admitted on U.S. talk show Live with Kelly and Ryan. "Faith makes turkey in the southern cornbread dressing so when she's making that and the homemade cranberry sauce is on the stove cooking, I get pretty excited.
"And then the sugar cookies at Christmas with the frosting on - awww, come on!"
Thanksgiving will be a rare day off for McGraw, because he has never taken a proper holiday.
The singer noted it's not that he doesn't enjoy relaxing, he just enjoys his work even more.
"Let me put it to you like this," the 52-year-old explained. "You vacation because you want to chase a connection that you're fond of, or passionate about, or relax... I love what I do. I love work and if you talk to anyone who's super dedicated to what they believe is their purpose, they'll be like, 'I've never worked a day in my life.'"
And McGraw insisted he's not joking: "I haven't taken a vacation, ever. I mean that. I get to play dress-up. I get to slick my hair back... I really do enjoy what I do, and I don't want to take any time off."
