Hong Kong Cantopop group Grasshopper (草蜢) will be coming to Singapore for their “Grasshopper Music Walker Concert” on 22 July.

Tickets to the one-night-only concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium range from $88 to $198 (excluding $4 booking fee) and will be available for sale from Thursday (13 April) at 10am.

Tickets are available via the hotline at 3158 7888 or from the Sportshub website. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Singapore Indoor Stadium Box Office and all Singpost outlets islandwide.

The trio, consisting of Edmond So (蘇志威) and brothers Remus Choy (蔡一杰) and Calvin Choy (蔡一智), made their debut in 1985. Their appearance in the Hong Kong New Talent Singing Awards that year caught the attention of the late singer-actress Anita Mui, who took them under her wings.

The band were last in Singapore for their “Glamour On Stage” concert at Resorts World Sentosa in 2014.

They are known for their hit songs from the 90s, “Baby I’m Sorry” (宝贝对不起), “Broken Heart Club” (失恋阵线联盟) and Ban Dian Xin (半点心).

To commemorate their 30th anniversary in 2016, Grasshopper released an album “Music Walker” and embarked on their world tour.

When asked what fans could look forward to at their concert in Singapore, member Remus Choy said, “You will have to start keeping fit and building your stamina, because we will be at our very best and we are confident of partying all night.
