Tianyo Ma admits mistake in suit controversy
17 Jul – Stylist-turned-singer Tianyo Ma recently addressed the previous wardrobe issue that sparked between him and singer Eric Suen, saying that it was all a misunderstanding.
As reported on Mingpao, the conflict sparked recently when Eric, who started a menswear store in Tsim Sha Tsui, took to social media to berate a star surnamed Ma for lying when borrowing a suit from the store.
"I just found out that a so-called artiste who came to the store to borrow a suit supposedly for a Chanel event was actually going to Malaysia to attend a friend's wedding," he said.
Eric retorted that instead of lying, the artiste should have told him the real purpose of him using their service.
Although Eric refused to reveal the name of the said celebrity, many speculated that it was Tianyo Ma, since he just attended a wedding in Kuala Lumpur with good friend Karena Ng.
Speaking to the media about the issue, Tianyo admitted that he was the artiste in question, and said that the mistake happened due to miscommunication between him and his colleague.
He stressed that he has already apologised to Eric, and will do his best not to make the same mistake again.
"It's in the past. What's done is done," he said.
When asked if Eric has forgiven him and would sponsor him again in the future, Tianyo responded, "Let's not speak about it."
