A Chinese-influenced Filipino favorite, lomi is a perfect meal-in-a-bowl: from the creamy soup to the filling noodles to the variety of meat and vegetables. It’s an oldie but goodie that still satisfies hungry tummies today. Make some traditional fare in your kitchen in under an hour!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cooking oil

  • 1 kilo lomi or egg noodles

  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 ½ cups cabbage, shredded

  • 1 medium carrot, cut into strips

  • ½ cup chicken, boiled and sliced

  • ½ cup pork, boiled and sliced

  • 1/4 cup shrimps, boiled and shelled

  • ½ cup squidballs, cooked and halved

  • ½ cup chicken or meatballs, cooked and halved

  • ½ cup kikiam, cooked and sliced

  • 1 Tbsp fish sauce

  • 1 ¼ Tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • ¼  cup cornstarch or cassava flour diluted in ¼ cup water
