It’s a Weasley overload. And we’re not talking about twins Fred and George, either.

Yesterday, the two Rons met in London’s West End, namely Rupert Grint from the Harry Potter movies, and Paul Thornley, who plays the grown-up Ron in ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’.

The show’s official Twitter page posted the cosy backstage shots, others featuring Grint meeting with the whole cast.

We’ve only recently recovered from the heart-melting meeting of the two Hermiones last month.

Emma Watson also went to see the show in July, before posting pictures of herself with Noma Dumezweni, who plays the adult Hermione in the stage play.

There is now a rather Radcliffe-sized gap in this particular photo stream, with the original Harry Potter yet to visit the production.

This latest meeting could force the issue, but perhaps we shouldn’t hold our breath.

Radcliffe has previously said that he would likely not be going to see the play for fear of distracting attention from its stars.

“I could be completely wrong in this, but I feel like if I went to see it that night, there’s going to be a lot of Harry Potter fans there in the audience obviously and would that then become a thing?” he told E! News.

“Would it be more about them watching me watch the show or would it take away from the show? I would never want to do anything that would distract or take away from the show.”

He added to Stephen Colbert: “I want to see the show – I genuinely am intrigued and I’ve heard it’s fantastic – but I just feel sitting in an audience of what will for the most of the near future be very enthusiastic Harry Potter fans might be like not a relaxing way to see a show.”
