The Rock And Vin Diesel's Feud 'Building For Months'
The reported feud between Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Vin Diesel had been ‘building for months’, it’s been claimed.
On Tuesday, The Rock unleashed a barrage of shade at unnamed male cast-members of ‘Fast & Furious 8’ in a withering Instagram post during its final week of filming.
He accused certain co-workers of behaving in a manner not befitting a man, called them ‘candy asses’ and ‘chicken s**t’.

But now it’s claimed this volcano had been set to blow some time back.
A source told US mag People: “Tension has been building up for months.”
However, the source suggested that Johnson may not be blame-free for the blow-out.
“Vin has been having problems with The Rock because The Rock keeps showing up late for production,” the source added.
“Sometimes he doesn’t show up at all and he’s delaying the production.”
Another source confirmed to TMZ: “I think there were some words said yesterday about this and that’s what started this whole thing online but the tension has been going on for months.”
However, others have laid the blame at Diesel’s door, and past reports of the ‘Fast’ series main man have hinted at diva-ish behaviour.
Last October, The Hollywood Reporter quoted a source from Fast & Furious 7′ saying: “Vin spent a whole day in his trailer one day.
“The next day, they waited four hours for him. He called a meeting of studio execs to his trailer for two-and-a-half hours to say, ‘What the f**k am I doing here?’”
Meanwhile, yet another source told Page Six that Diesel ‘was constantly late [when we worked together]’, adding that Diesel ‘acted like a diva and has held up production before’ and that ‘it’s not surprising that he’s the one The Rock is calling out’.
Co-star Tyrese Gibson threw his two cents in, posting in a now-deleted message on Instagram: “DJ happens to be one of the most humble, down to earth and professional people I’ve ever worked with.”
Either way, The Rock posted a second picture from the set yesterday, calming the situation slightly, likening the row to a ‘family argument’.
“There’s no greatness ever achieved alone… it’s always a team effort,” he wrote. “We promised an epic prison break out for you guys and we delivered… like with any team – that’s a family – there’s gonna be conflict. Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs. To me, conflict can be a good thing, when its followed by great resolution. I was raised on healthy conflict and welcome it. And like any family, we get better from it. At the end of the day me and #F8 co-stars all agree on the most important thing: Delivering an incredible movie to the world. #Fast8#IcemanCometh #FamilyGrowth.”
‘Fast & Furious 8’, featuring off-screen tension at no extra charge, is due out on April 14, 2017.
