Terrance Lau, Cecilia Choi: Falling in love is a plus
10 Jul – Although they met and fell in love while filming Kiwi Chow's "Beyond the Dream", Cecilia Choi and Terrance Lau stated that their relationship was not the ultimate gain from the show.
As reported on Mingpao, the two stars who sat down for an interview to promote the new movie, shared that they were much happier that the movie was short-listed for multiple film awards and gained recognition from many - which enabled them to win some as well.
However, Terrance confessed that him and Cecilia winning Best Actor and Best Actress at the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards was a big surprise and joy to him.
"I didn't think too much about it while filming, because I was focused on trying to complete it within 20 days. I filmed for more than ten hours a day, doing many scenes with great emotional ups and downs. There was no time to think about other things," said Terrance.
As for their relationship, Cecilia said that unlike her character who is a psychological counsellor to Terrance's character, in real life, the actor was the one who gave her all the advice.
"He is my counsellor. The most important thing in a relationship is to be frank and sincere, to take care of each other. And he does that. He is sincere and kind, and these qualities are important to me," she said.
