It feels like Taylor Swift has been around forever because we talk about her all the time, but actually her self-titled first album only debuted in 2006 (when she was just 16). Of course, Swift celebrated the 10th anniversary with an adorable throwback!

But before we look at that, let’s just take a second to process the sheer amount of awesomeness that Swift has accomplished in the last decade. We’ve loved it all; from recent highlights that include her dreamy, acoustic version of “Wildest Dreams” to this taste of her new music, not to mention her regular acts of kindness toward people she loves dearly.

And in our humble opinion, that first album will always be a perfect work of art. It has such a special place in our hearts, so we’re glad that it means a lot to Swift as well.

“10 years ago today, my first album came out. I couldn’t be more grateful today, thinking back on how much fun we’ve had and how you’ve encouraged me to change and grow. It’s been such an adventure, guys. Thank you for all of it.”

Awwwww! Isn’t she just the best?! Always so positive and grateful, and never a hint of diva behavior.

Meredith is allergic to joy.

She deserves to celebrate this milestone, because her career has truly been incredible. And she’s only 26, so there’s so much more to go!

Taylor Swift fans unite!

Today is the day to throw on her first album and then work your way to the present, because Swift has transformed from a fresh-faced pop star into a world famous artist (not an easy feat AT ALL), and managed to carry herself with such confidence and spirit every step of the way. Never a dull moment with this one.

YOU GO GIRL! All the love!
