Taylor Swift sent Selena Gomez the cutest throwback picture ever for her birthday

Taylor Swift may have come under fire lately for her very public feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t take time to wish her friends a happy birthday.

On Friday, longtime gal pal Selena Gomez turned 24, and 26-year-old Swift took to Instagram to share a throwback photo, the two of them making two halves of a heart with their hands.

“Going through old pictures today, because @selenagomez just turned 24! I can’t imagine my life without you, Selena. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” The caption reads.

Gomez has been one of Swift’s “longest love affairs,” E! News has previously noted, as the two have been friends for a decade now, since Gomez was 13 and Swift was 16.

Gomez has been equally effusive about her friendship with Swift in the past, telling the U.K.’s Sunday Times last year that she has always been there in times in need, including helping her through her breakup with Nick Jonas.

“I can count on one hand the people I could call and who would be there for me,” she says. “Taylor is one of the greatest people. When I split with my first boyfriend [Nick Jonas] and I was really sad about it, she flew into town with homemade cookies and a bunch of junk food. To this day, if I called her, she would do the same thing, despite being one of the busiest people in the world.”

Aw, it’s so sweet to know that no matter what the world throws at them, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez will always find time for each other. BFFs for real!
