Target’s Next Collaboration Is Perfect for Bougie Moms

I’m the kind of girl who thinks shopping can be a workout. I mean, walking around and holding heavy bags can seriously be strenuous. But now, Target and SoulCycle are taking my idea of exercising and legitimizing it.

The latest collaboration for the superstore — Peter Pillotto, Missoni, Lilly Pulitzer, Jason Wu, and Altuzarra are just a few of their former lines — is with the spinning giant. SoulCycle, which sells personalized athleticwear at its studios and has been looking to expand this part of its business, will be selling cotton items including T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and more with the biking boutique’s logo as well as Target’s.

The collaboration comes just in time for customers to fulfill their “new year, new you” resolutions. “Helping our guests succeed in their wellness journey is an important priority for Target. As we enter this new year, we wanted to bring the same level of excitement to wellness that typically comes to life through our partnerships with top entertainers and designers,” Target EVP/chief marketing officer Jeff Jones told Well+Good. As for Soul co-founders Julie Rice and Elizabeth Cutler, they’re “thrilled to be working with Target to bring SoulCycle to more people and help them find joy in movement to kick off the New Year.”

In addition to athleisure products, Target will also host spin class pop-ups across the country for free. No word yet on how signing up for a bike will go down, but one thing’s for sure, it’s bound to be a bougie battle royale to get one.
