Who doesn't love Target? From Project 62, its new line of affordable home goods, to its collection AVA & VIV, the retailer is amazing at creating inclusive items for its loyal customers.

And now, the store's brand of kids' clothing, Cat & Jack, has created adaptive apparel for toddlers and children with disabilities. The 40-piece line, available Oct. 22, includes jackets, pants, and T-shirts. The items feature extra zippers, side snaps, and back openings that better adapt to children with disabilities so that they can more easily get dressed without sacrificing their style.

In August, Cat & Jack also unveiled a sensory-friendly line for children on the autism spectrum that includes flat seams and no tags for children sensitive to touch.

“It’s our goal at Target to always make sure we have products that fit our guests’ needs, and all at a reasonable price point. We heard from our guests - and members of our own team - that there’s a need for adaptive clothing for kids that is both fashionable and affordable, so we set out to create exactly that,” said Julie Guggemos, senior vice president of Product Design & Development at Target.

Hopefully, these innovations will push other brands to follow their lead and work on more inclusive fashion for everyone.
