Target Will Give You A $5 Coupon If You Get Vaccinated At One Of Their Stores

Target really wants you to get vaccinated, and to prove how serious they are about it, they're willing to pay you to do it. No, seriously. They want to give you cash to get vaccinated. There's only one catch though: You'll have to get the vaccine at one of their locations that includes a CVS.

From now through the foreseeable future, the giant retailer is offering anyone who shows up to get vaccinated at their stores (including Target team members) a $5 coupon to use anyway you'd like and you'll get it the same day you get the vaccine. The only thing you'll need to remember about the coupon is that it can only be redeemed after you've made an in-store purchase of $5 or more. So the entire coupon—which is not a gift card—has to be used on a purchase all at once. But honestly, if you frequent Target like most people do, that shouldn't be too difficult to do.

The news of the extra incentive comes after the popular retailer joined the ranks of businesses to update store policies to make mask wearing optional in their stores. The option, however, is only applicable to those who are fully vaccinated. Considering the COVID-19 vaccine, but not sure how to go about it? Nearly all CVS at Target locations are offering vaccine appointments to all adults in the U.S. Just visit CVS.com to schedule your appointment. If you have insurance or are a part of a federal program for the uninsured, there's no charge for the vaccine.
