Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young Offer a First Glimpse of Their Wedding Plans

Less than one week after HGTV star Tarek El Moussa proposed to Selling Sunset's Heather Rae Young during a romantic weekend celebrating their one-year anniversary, the happy bride- and groom-to-be already spilling secrets about their wedding plans.

While the coronavirus pandemic couldn't stop Tarek from getting down on one knee to propose to Heather, the couple won't officially tie the knot until things are "back to normal." For now, plan to mark your calendars for about one year out.

"It's really important to us that we have a proper wedding," Tarek exclusively shared with E! News. "So whenever we get back to normal, we will be getting married. We're expecting it to be less than a year."

Fans will also be able to get an up close look at the road to "I do." Tarek confirmed that the engagement, in which he surprised Heather, was filmed by HGTV. It's also within the realm of possibility that the ceremony itself could be documented for the small screen.

"That's something we need to sit down and really discuss—if we really want all of the cameras around," Heather told E! "But I also think it's special to have it documented. We can look back and have it forever—just like the engagement."

Heather also revealed new details about her stunning engagement ring Friday on Instagram. Tarek chose an 8 carat (a lucky number), emerald cut (her favorite cut) diamond for Heather, and the stone was shipped to California from Europe.
