Tang Wei wins another Best Actress accolade

7 Dec - Tang Wei is set to be honoured yet again in South Korea, this time by the Korean Film Producers Association.

As reported on Epoch Times, the actress has been named the association's Best Actress for this year's 9th edition of the Awards, in addition to five other accolades for her movie, "Decision to Leave", including Best Film.

This is also Tang's fifth Best Actress award in the country following Blue Dragon Film Awards, Buil Film Awards, Chunsa Film Art Awards, as well as Korean Association of Film Critics' Awards.

The Park Chan-Wook movie stars Tang as a Chinese immigrant in Korea, who is suspected of being involved in the death of her Korean husband. The film co-stars Park Hae-Il and Lee Jung-Hyun among others.

The movie was also selected as the South Korean entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the 95th Academy Awards.
