Tang Siu Hau takes a break from social media
27 Apr – Hong Kong singer Tang Siu Hau recently announced that she is taking a break from all social media so that she can focus more on the real world.
As reported on Singtao, the singer revealed her intentions on Instagram recently, writing, "It's time to say goodbye to social media, because my head is too tired to receive so much information."
Tang stated that she wants to reorganise her lifestyle and attitude towards life as she returns to Hong Kong, and that she is investing in a new project.
She also believed that social media can't replace real interaction, saying, "I know social media is a good and important channel. When we use the internet, it seems like there is a communication, but in fact it is even better to meet [face to face] and talk."
"At the same time, I don't think my posts will help you in your life. If you like my music, just listen to my song. All the major media have it. Until next time."
Fans who saw the post mostly expressed their support and anticipation for her next album.
Tang's latest album is "Inner Voice", which has been released back in February.
