Tai Bo, Terrance Lau happy to share Best Actor award

28 Jan – Hong Kong actor Tai Bo recently admitted that he is over the moon following the announcement that he has won the 2019 Hong Kong Film Critics Society's Best Actor award.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor who shares the title with Terrance Lau ("Beyond the Dream"), stated that he is most excited by the fact that the recognition comes from professional critics who know movies best.

"I will continue to work hard. I am honoured to have a good film, and this is truly an affirmation. I am also happy to be nominated in this category for the first time in 50 years," he enthused.

On the other hand, Terrance, who also won Best Actor for his first big screen project, stated that he is grateful for the recognition.

"I am thankful to the "Beyond the Dream" team, director Chow Kwun Wai and my co-star Cecilia Choi. Although filming the movie was very challenging, I really enjoyed it. I hope that the film will enable people to understand further the world of people with mental health issues," he said.
