SINGAPORE — Singaporean street artist Sam Lo (aka SKL0/your friendly neighbourhood Sticker Lady) has collaborated with G-SHOCK Casio to launch a G-SHOCK x SKL0 timepiece. With a limited run of only 300 timepieces, Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore finds out from Sam Lo on the inspiration behind her design, the city she'd like to hit next and her future plans, including a show coming right up this September. The G-SHOCK x SKL0 timepiece comes in a special packaging that features a line from the classic Singapore National Day Parade (NDP) theme song “We Are Singapore”. The watch retails at S$299 and it will be available at all G-SHOCK Boutiques (except IMM) from today onwards.
SINGAPORE — Zoe Tay launched a campaign against date rape at a panel discussion last Wednesday (25 June), during which she warned women and girls against being taken advantage of by men in social situations. The actress started the “You Can Say No” campaign last year in collaboration with the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations to advocate for women on issues that affect them, such as domestic violence, date rape and workplace harassment. The focus this year is on date rape, after she campaigned against domestic violence last year. Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore had a chat with Tay about the women's advocacy campaign that she is fronting.
