Popular K-pop boyband Wanna One looked a tad familiar as they attended a press conference for the media and a select group of fans on Friday (22 September), ahead of their first fan meeting in Singapore. Having to style eleven members of a K-pop boyband must be tough, so we can’t really blame their stylist or stylists for sticking to a monochrome theme. Fresh off their win for the New Korean Wave Rookie Award on Thursday (21 September), the temporary boyband from survival reality show “Produce 101 Season” is in Singapore for their first (and possibly last) fan meeting.
Just two days after ticket sales for Korean pop group Wanna One’s fan meeting in Singapore began on 2 September (Saturday), most of the ticket categories have been sold out, with only CAT 3 ($128) available for purchase. Earlier on Saturday (2 September), after sales had started, local concert promoter IME Singapore announced that they opened more seats for sale due to “overwhelming response”. IME Singapore announced on 28 August via their Facebook page that the popular 11-member group would be visiting Singapore for the first time.
