K-pop star Samuel Kim was named the “Most Searched Korean New Singer” at the 2017 Yahoo Asia Buzz Awards show in Hong Kong on Wednesday (6 December). In his acceptance speech, Kim gave a shout out to his fans (known as Garnets) and said he was honoured to receive a trophy in Hong Kong, his first time receiving an award overseas and his first as a solo artiste.
