Earlier this year Laura Whitmore saddened I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here fans by announcing her departure from the ITV show’s spin-off programme, Get Me Out Of Here NOW. The TV presenter revealed that she wouldn’t be returning to the Aussie outback later this year, and it has now been reported that reigning queen of the jungle Vicky Pattison is in talks to front the show. The news will no doubt come as a blow to Katie Price, who was keen to front the programme alongside her ex-husband Peter Andre, who she met whilst taking part in the main show way back in 2004.
Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison won over the nation during her stint on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, going on to be crowned Queen of the jungle following three weeks in the Aussie outback. Vicky shed the pounds through a strict diet and exercise regime, and revealed that it was her healthy figure that helped her win the show above anything and everything else.
Charlotte Crosby and Vicky Pattison were reportedly overheard having a huge row at the X Factor final after the I’m a Celeb winner is believed to have blanked her former Geordie Shore costar. Charlotte was apparently left fuming after Vicky bypassed her and her boyfriend and fellow Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle to say hello to other stars such as X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. A source told The Daily Star newspaper that things got heated after Vicky seemed to ignore her old pals.
After spending the last three weeks shunning our social lives to watch a bunch of celebrities battle cockroaches and eat LIVE spiders (how Ferne McCann did that we’ll never know), we finally have a new I’m A Celebrity champion. Before she could be handed the crown, the Geordie Shore lass and her fellow finalists Ferne and George Shelley had to complete one last Bushtucker Trial each. Vicky was tasked with ‘Surf and Turf’, having to travel through tanks filled with snakes, spiders, crabs and eels to grab keys and retrieve four gold stars.
