Boutique hotel M Social Singapore launched a new robot as a member of its hospitality staff in December 2016. Called the Automated Room-Service Associate or AURA, the robot is able to attend to guests' requests for items such as towels or toiletries by "carrying" these items in the machinery's top compartment and navigating its way through corridors and on elevators to the guests' respective rooms.
