The next time you are in Raffles City shopping mall, take a look at the new Samsung digital art exhibition “Joy in everyday art” that will be available for public viewing from today (29 September) until 17 October. This exhibition features creative works by local photographers, illustrators, artistes and influencers, that were all shot and designed on a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phone using the stylus (the “S Pen”). Each individual piece displayed is supposed to showcase its contributor’s creativity through the use of the S Pen.

As part of the island’s 45th anniversary celebrations, Sentosa will be hosting Southeast Asia’s largest sand festival. This huge sand art exhibition spreads over 2,400 square metres and features more than 30 larger-than-life sand sculptures. During a media preview on Thursday (31 August) evening, JOOheng Tan, the lead sculptor and creative director of Sentosa Sandsation, said the exhibitions aim to give visitors “a moment of laughter” as they interpret and reflect upon the meaning behind the sculptures.
