Why The Hateful Eight Was The Most Exciting Thing To Come Out Of Comic-Con

You’d be forgiven for failing to look beyond the likes of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens’ and DC’s ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and ‘Suicide Squad’ at this year’s Comic-Con. In fact, it may just have been the most interesting thing to have come out of this year’s Comic-Con, and that’s even without having seen the exclusive seven-minute footage that was shown. Familiar names include Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, and Michael Madsen.

Comic-Con: Guillermo Del Toro on Crimson Peak, Pacific Rim 2 & Hellboy 3

    Watch Bryan Cranston’s One-Liner Which Destroyed Comic-Con

Cranston, at SDCC to promote his role in new animated TV show ‘Supermansions,’ took a question from a teenage ‘Breaking Bad’ fan, who revealed himself to be a native of Albuquerque, the setting of the celebrated series in which Cranston played the iconic chemistry teacher-turned-meth cook Walter White. Rather ominous… and it sets the tone for what’s likely to be the most destructive ‘X-Men’ movie yet. - Kenneth Branagh Will Not Direct Thor: Ragnarok - Black Panther’s Civil War Role Revealed But that’s not all – he’s also

Green Lantern Reboot Will Be Team-Up Movie

While bona fide new movie announcements have been disappointingly thin on the ground from this year’s San Diego Comic Con so far, Saturday did see one relatively quiet reveal about an upcoming superhero movie. In other words, it would appear this movie will centre not on a single Green Lantern as in the much-maligned 2011 film with Ryan Reynolds, but on a whole team of them. For the benefit of those unfamiliar with the comic book property, the title of ‘Green Lantern’ refers not just to one lo

Suicide Squad at Comic Con: What We Learned

Superman is referenced, making a point of underlining that ‘Suicide Squad’ exists in the same universe as ‘Batman V Superman.’ Not that this needed to be expressed only in words, as footage of the car chase featuring Batman - photos of which came online earlier this year - is also shown. The overall tone of the trailer is pretty sinister, thanks to a creepy rendition of the old Bee Gees song ‘I Started a Joke’ in the background, set against shots of our anti-heroes in action, including Margot R

More Hunger Games Movies In The Works?

It looks as though ‘Hunger Games’ star Josh Hutcherson may have let slip about plans to continue the franchise beyond ‘Mockingjay Part 2’.
