South Korean stars Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo have tied the knot. Like one social media post said, “This looks like the final episode of Descendants of the Sun!”. Well, judging by the massive media and fan attention that the wedding of Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo has been getting, we can’t help but agree.
Producer Lee Hwan-jin said the “members and producers had an emergency meeting in Seoul”, where they cleared up the misunderstandings that had been plaguing the team following recent reports in the media. After the talks involving, Kim Jong Kook, Song Ji Hyo, the other members, and the producers, it was decided that ‘Running Man’ would finish at the end of February. On Wednesday, news reports said that Song and Kim would be leaving the show, with SBS adding that host Kang Ho Dong would join the cast in January.
Major changes are coming to the popular Korean variety show, “Running Man”, with a new season starting in January 2017, nearly seven years after the first episode aired. Following “Running Man” regular Gary’s departure from the show in October, two other regulars – Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo, are also leaving the long-running programme. Veteran TV host and former wrestler, Kang Ho Dong, will be joining the show.
