    Parents should start talking to their kids about alcohol at age nine, according to a recent report by the American Academy of Pediatrics. The AAP report, published in the journal Pediatrics, was aimed at reducing binge drinking in high school students. The reason to start talking to kids about alcohol before they even reach middle school is that, according to study authors, kids begin to develop impressions about alcohol as early as nine years old.
