The Duke of Cambridge recently admitted that he struggles with Princess Charlotte's ponytail.
“A sleek ponytail really celebrates your features and looks beautiful from every angle,” says hairstylist Deycke Heidorn, who created the look above on Frankie Wall. The key to this style is having sleek strands, so if you’ve got naturally curly or wavy hair, protect dry hair with a heat protective spray like Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray ($4), and use a flat iron to create a smooth texture. She likes Shu Uemera Tasai Cream ($38) for it’s light, milky texture.
I wanted to see that Prada look done for everyday — and hairstylist Deycke Heidorn delivered. The key with this look is texture, so start by perfecting your waves. For those with naturally wavy or curly hair, Heidorn says to add a bit of leave in conditioner from the mid-shaft to ends of hair and let it hair dry or dry using a diffuser For the straight haired girls, use a medium sized curling wand to create waves and lock in the texture with a salt spray (she likes John Masters Organics Sea Mist and Redken 07 Fashion Waves) before gently combing out with a wide tooth comb. The final step is all about that last bit of texture — and it’s what makes this style slightly different from the look at Prada.
