‘Aladdin’ Spinoff Movie in the Works With Billy Magnussen for Disney+
Make way for Prince…Anders? A spinoff film based on Disney’s live-action remake of “Aladdin” is headed to Disney+, and Billy Magnussen, who played Prince Anders in the remake, will star in the project, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.Magnussen was one of the smarmy, wealthy princes who visits Agrabah to try and win Princess Jasmine’s (Naomi Scott) heart, and though his role was small, the rising star proved to be a scene-stealer in the film.Jordan Dunn and Michael Kvamme

Yes, Animated 'Aladdin' Stars Still Recognized by Their Voices
When you’re a huge A-list movie star like Angelina Jolie or Leonardo DiCaprio, people recognize your face. So says the cast of Aladdin in an interview with Yahoo Movies (above). Linda Larkin, who played Jasmine in the animated classic, says little girls perk up when they hear her voice. Scott Weinger, who voiced Aladdin, said the weirdest time a fan recognized his voice was when he was ordering a pint of Guinness at an Irish pub.

Watch Epic 'Star Wars'-Disney Mash-Up (But Brace Yourself for Disturbing Olaf Scene!)
The Force has been awakened along with a mess of classic Disney characters in this new mash-up video (above) made by Norwegian comedy video makers PistolShrimps. At the outset of the epic spoof, Aladdin villain Jafar is revealed as a TIE fighter pilot shooting at the so-called “street rat” and his life mate, Princess Jasmine. Then a slew of Disney all-stars appear. Belle from Beauty and the Beast momentarily assumes the role of Rey, the young heroine in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
