2015′s ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ surprised everyone when it was greeted with hugely positive reviews and a generally positive reception from cinema goers. Now, as ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ has just finished filming, its star Taron Egerton has significantly hyped it up. The first film starred Egerton alongside Colin Firth, Sam L. Jackson, and Mark Strong and managed to sufficiently poke fun at the James Bond type movies whilst retaining its own identity and credibility.
After his untimely death in ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’, it looked as though the future of Harry Hart had been cut short. A crying shame – after all, ‘Kingsman’ saw Colin Firth at his finest, kicking ass as the gentleman spy alongside Taron Egerton.
Vinnie Jones has joined ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’. Appearing on Twitter, the 51-year-old actor and ex-footballer revealed that he’s currently on set for ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’… and we even got a glimpse of his costume. “Reunited with mathew Vaughn,” he said alongside a picture with the ‘Kingsman 2’ director.
Many movies just didn’t seem interesting, even though a few – “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” – were much anticipated. As before, we based our choices on the movies released in Singapore this year (in case you’re wondering why some US releases in late 2014 were included). Movies that didn’t make it to the list but deserve an honourable mention are: “Cinderella”, “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” and “Straight Outta Compton”.
