'Satan's Slaves' was as terrifying to shoot as it is to watch

Sometimes shooting a horror movie can be just as terrifying as watching it. During the filming of Indonesian horror movie “Satan’s Slaves” (“Pengabdi Setan”), there were two unexplained occurrences. “My sound recordist recorded something on his Instagram Live Story and there was a sound,” said director Joko Anwar. “Satan’s Slaves”, about a family whose dark history unravels as they are haunted by the spirit of a relative, is a remake of the 1980s Indonesian horror film of the same name.
