When I heard the news that Kate Middleton is pregnant with her third bundle of joy, my reaction was as positive as…
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a fur hat to church ahead of her birthday. Who needs a birthday suit when you can wear a birthday hat? On Sunday, just a day ahead of turning 35, the Duchess of Cambridge attended church with her family (the queen, who’s been fighting a “heavy cold,” included) wearing a standout fur topper.

The Duchess of Cambridge is known for shopping her own closet, wearing her favorite items time and time again. And Tuesday night was no exception — well, sort of. At the Place2Be Wellbeing in Schools Awards in London, Kate Middleton stepped out in a black dress in a strikingly familiar silhouette. Why does it feel like fashion déjà vu? The Duchess of Cambridge wore matching red heels.
Pippa Middleton, lil sis of the Duchess of Cambridge has got engaged to her boyfriend James Matthews. Wanting to do things the old-fashioned way, James, 40, apparently got permission from his future father-in-law, Michael Middleton, before popping the question with a stunning diamond ring.
A photo of the card was shared on Twitter by royal photographer, Paul Ratcliffe, who had sent a card to Prince William and the Duchess to celebrate their anniversary on 29th April. “Lovely thank you card received from TRH The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge for their 5th Wedding anniversary,” he tweeted alongside an image of the card.
Instead, the 34-year-old gave a nod to the great outdoors with a grass-green Venetian wool coat-dress by Catherine Walker. Choosing to keep her long locks loose aside from two sections pinned up, Kate accessorised her outfit with a small gold clutch and her trusty nude court shoes. The Duchess was joined by husband Prince William, where they viewed a flower named in honour of their daughter Princess Charlotte, who turned one earlier this month.
Fully embracing the nautical theme, Kate wore a stylish monochrome ensemble from Alexander McQueen complete with military button detailing and cute kick pleats. It’s not the first time the Duchess has showcased the nautical inspired McQueen outfit. The navy/black and white style outfit with gold button detailing made its debut as Kate met those affected by the Birmingham riots in 2011.

As well as boasting three more photographs of the mum-of-two by renowned British photographer Josh Olins, the magazine includes a low-down of the day’s proceedings by editor Alexandra Shulman. So what was Kate wearing and how did Shulman tempt her to agree to appearing on the glossy pages of British Vogue? The Duchess behaved like the perfect princess According to Shulman’s review, she didn’t whip out her phone once or complain about the cold, despite being on location in Norfolk in the middle of winter. Shulman writes that the Duchess “posed uncomplaining, often in a thin cotton shirt.” A photo posted by British Vogue (@britishvogue) on Apr 30, 2016 at 1:01pm PDT 3.

It seems like only yesterday that Kate Middleton, as she was named then, and Prince William sealed their marriage with a Disney-esque kiss on the balcony at Buckingham Palace. But April 29 marks the couple’s five-year anniversary, proving just how quickly time flies. Five years on, the duo has welcomed two children, travelled the world and had the Obamas for dinner - no small feats. It’s the first time Kate has skipped the celebrations in five years, but not surprising that she’s chosen to stay home with her kids – who she’ll be saying goodbye to in a couple of weeks when she jets off on her royal tour of India and Bhutan.

They went for walks in the woods, drank beer at the local pub, went hunting with the Queen’s corgis, and skiing in the Alps. Now, as the parent of two heirs to the throne, it seems that her adventurous spirt still comes out sometimes between dressing up in Jenny Packham for galas and attending charity events across the kingdom.
