Let’s face it, they do pretty well money-wise in their day jobs on the big and small screen. But for these stars, hocking a product proved really lucrative.
“I decided who I wanted to be, and that is who I am.” Wise words by a lady who revolutionized women’s dress codes in the 1920s, the champion of pantsuit nation of her time, and the ultimate badass feminist — and she’s still being celebrated today because frankly, there is, was, and never will be anybody like Coco Chanel! This is the year of Gabrielle at Chanel, and the label will be celebrating themes that are very poignant to our world today: rebellion, freedom, passion, and allure.

What did Pharrell Williams have on his head at the Chanel Métiers d’Art show in Paris on Tuesday? The musician walked the runway in a long dark blue version of Chanel’s signature tweed jacket, a black shirt, and matching jeans, with strings of Chanel pearls draped around his neck, silver gloves in (not on) his hand, white shoes, and a hat markedly smaller than the ones he typically wears.
While Cara Delevingne got her career started as a model, she’s pivoted away from runways in recent years and focused on acting. And she’s been pretty successful, having landed a starring roles in Paper Towns and Suicide Squad. But what could get Cara back on the catwalk? Karl Lagerfeld, of course! For Chanel’s latest Métiers d’Art Show, otherwise known as the Chanel Resort 2017 show, the English It-girl went back to her roots. Wearing black and white tweed ensembles, she walked — and even danced! — throughout the newly reopened Ritz Paris. ...

You wouldn’t stroll into Mario Batali’s kitchen and overthrow his carbonara recipe. Or walk through Christian Louboutin’s studio and suggest tweaking the color of the soles. His take on the scent, launching in the form of Chanel No. 5 L’Eau this fall, is the freshest, cleanest, and — in my opinion — sexiest interpretation of it yet.

[Photo: Xinhua News Agency/REX/Shutterstock] We have all seen some exotic and extravagant fashion shows in the past but Chanel’s most recent spectacle just one-up’d them all. Karl Lagerfeld, head of Chanel is a fan of a traveling runway and has staged shows in Venice, Miami and Dubai just to name a few. Lagerfeld’s new line is apparently inspired by Cuba’s “cultural richness” and that sure did show throughout the event.

May they all be future classics in your wardrobe.

Of course designers want to emulate her regalness by taking a little inspiration onto the catwalk from HRH wardrobe. Designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel and Gucci have all payed homage to The Queens signature looks in their collections.
There is one thing we all like to invest in when it comes to our wardrobe and that is our handbags. So, what’s the best style to stand the test of time (and fashion seasons).
