Sandara Park catches up with friends from local showbiz

Sandara Park Holds Fan Signing For Clio

K-pop star and 2NE1 member Sandara "Dara" Park took time out from her busy schedule in Manila to catch up with friends from local showbiz.

She was in town to grace the Korea Tourism Organization’s K-Beauty & Fun program at the SMX Convention Center on Sunday, February 15, and Korea Night at Fairmont Hotel on Monday, February 16.

“Maraming salamat para sa recognition na ito. Maraming salamat din sa lahat na bumibisita sa korea at nagmamahal sa mga korean artists tulad ko. Ang saya saya ko! Mahal ko kayo!!! :) #Korea#Philippines ,” Dara posted on Instagram.

Hundreds of fans welcomed Dara at SMX, where she performed her local song “In or Out.”  Young local fans who danced to 2NE1’s songs amazed her.

“Little 2ne1 ang galing niyo! At ang galing ng mga Blackjacks! Akala ko concert na ito,” Dara posted on Instagram.

After the event, Dara met Luis Manzano, Black Eyed Peas' and Robi Domingo.

“With my kuya luis @luckymanzano my one and only kuya,” Dara posted.

Luis posted a wacky photo with Dara, whom he calls “little sis” on Instagram.

“Got a visit from this lovely little girl! Things never change and this will always be our pose! Our wacky faces with cheek pinch! Thanks for never changing and being the same old little sis,” Luis posted.

Dara also reunited with, whom 2NE1 has worked with.

“The Filipino members of BEP/2NE1! 😆 It's so good to see you here in Manila @apldeap" 👍

She took photo with Robi, whom she met in Korea last year.

“With the very accommodating @iamrobidomingo,” she posted.


Dara promoted Korean tourism and thanked Filipinos for supporting Korean artists.

“Kapag may time, pumupunta ako sa Jeju Island. Diretso na ako sa airport at bumibili ng ticket. Marami kasing magandang resorts at beaches doon,” she told Korean host Sam Oh at Korea Night event.
