Kapamilya actor Jericho Rosales is now engaged to his Filipino-British girlfriend Kim Jones.

Jericho turned to social media on Sunday, August 4, to announce their engagement. The celebrity sweethearts have been together for more than a year.

The photo shows his TV host fiancé wearing a big diamond ring. Jericho then posted another photo of Kim, this time, wearing the real ring.

He thanked Kim, who is also celebrating her birthday today, for “saying yes” to him.

According to Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, Jericho's manager, Jericho proposed during their Church's Sunday service in Alabang.

Many have been sending positive tweets to the newly-engaged couple. Jericho thanked everyone for the support.

Kim also announced on Twitter that she is already engaged. She thanked Jericho for making her the “happiest lady in the world.” She also thanked her followers online for their greetings.

It was in 2012 when Jericho revealed that Kim is his girlfriend. Jericho initially wanted people to know her first for who she is and her work. The two met in March 2011 and became sweethearts in October of the same year.

"Normal siyang tao sa loob at labas. Basta importante nagkasundo kami sa surfing, mahal siya ng pamilya ko, mga kaibigan ko, sa Genesis (his management company)," Jericho said in a previous interview.

Kim also previously said that Jericho’s fans are very supportive of their relationship.

“I love his fans, they’re very supportive. We tweet each other a lot of times. It’s nice to have that support,” Kim said.
