Coco Martin on Julia Montes: Let's take it slow

Coco Martin and Julia Montes, stars of "Yamashita's Treasure."

Now that they have admitted their closeness,  is Kapamilya love team Coco Martin and Julia Montes ready to take their friendship to the next level?

Marami pang priorities and ayaw ko kasing mag take advantage na kapag nasa soap or magkasama kayo ay mangliligaw ka," Coco said at the press conference of upcoming "Wansapanataym" series "Yamishita's Treasure" on Tuesday, February 17.

Letting nature take its course

Coco wants to let nature take its course even as he and Julia have grown closer while starring in  several projects including "Walang Hanggan" and "Ikaw Lamang."

Coco promised to admit it if ever he and Julia decide to get into a relationship.

"Honestly, from my indie (days) ko, wala namang naitago.

Speculations

Coco’s presence in the premiere night of Julia's movie "Halik sa Hangin" sparked speculations that their friendship is getting deeper.

Habang nagma-mature kami, mas tumitindi yung samahan namin, hindi lang bilang magkatrabaho kundi pati magkaibigan," he said.

Coco loved the experience of working with Julia in so many projects, he asked her to be his co-star  in "Wansapanataym."

Work first

Julia is happy working with Coco again because they are very comfortable with each other.  But for now, a relationship isn't her priority.

"Focused ako sa work, sa family. Para din hindi maligaw yung priorities ko."

"Yamishita's Treasure" also stars Eddie Garcia, Angel Aquino, Nonie Buencamino, Bing Loyzaga, Ryan Bang and Alonzo Muhlach.
